Donation Tracker Template

Overview

The Donation Tracker template is built for non-profits, charities, as well as corporates to run their fundraising campaigns effectively. On one hand, it provides a platform for all the donors to sign up and commit to any of the available campaigns. On the other hand, it allows the organizers or whoever is managing the platform to monitor all the activities through a dynamic dashboard, create new campaigns, modify the existing ones, and more. The campaigns, in turn, are organized into a nice directory, where each campaign has its separate page with additional details and a timeline of all the donations that have already been made as part of the campaign. Further on, the template has pages and sections for stating your mission, values and other relevant information that visitors should get familiar with before deciding to engage with the platform. There’s also a contact form, which visitors can use to contact you in case they have any questions. To sum up, the Donation Tracker template provides you with all the necessary tools to communicate your message effectively, provide comprehensive information on each fundraising campaign, and monitor all the activities closely.

How it works

To start with the template, you just need to register a Softr account if you don’t already have one. Just hit the “Use Template” button on this page and, after creating a Softr account, you’ll be taken directly to your template. The last step of the setup is copying template’s database into your Airtable or Google Sheets account. Now, let’s see how the template is structured and what features are available.

Out of the box, the Donation Tracker has two user groups, Users (i.e. Donors) and Admins. As we already mentioned, users are able to explore the campaign directory and commit a certain amount the cause the prefer. Afterwards, administrators are supposed to contact the donor via email to sort out the payment aspect. Nevertheless, you can also add payments directly to your donation tracker platform through our native Stripe integration or other payment integrations.

Admins, on the other hand, are able to create new campaigns and edit the existing ones. But most importantly, they have access to the admin dashboard where they get all the updates in real time and can visualize the data (e.g. through charts).
