Overview

Sales CRM is a powerful CRM template that you can use to track all your client interactions, leads, pending tasks you have for each contact, and more. It provides you with a complete set of features to keep track of communication and activities through your entire sales funnel.

Using the Sales CRM template, you can set different view and edit permissions for each user group, so that customers see only info relevant to them and can modify only what they’re supposed to modify. All the data within the CRM is organized into directories that can be easily searched and filtered to locate the needed document or contact. Additionally, to make customer tracking easier and facilitate teamwork, it’s possible to attach notes to leads, to log client interactions, and more.

Dedicated CRM tools are often quite expensive and don’t allow for much customization. With this modular template, you can easily add new functionality and modify/remove the existing sections to tailor it to your specific needs at no additional cost.

How it works

If you don’t yet have a Softr account, you’ll be prompted to register one (free plan available) after clicking “Use template.” Afterwards, you’ll be immediately taken to your template, where you’ll just need to copy the template database from Airtable or Google Sheets and start customizing it. Now, let’s see what the template consists of and what functionality it provides. By default, the template is divided into the following areas: Deals, Accounts, Contacts, and Interactions. Each of these sections consist of a directory where each item has its own details page with all the informations, notes, and related entities (e.g. an Account profile has its contacts listed as well as all the associated deals in different stages and so on). Overall, the template has a clear structure and relationships between various entities, allowing you to track all your clients effectively, without losing any valuable piece of information. By default there are two user groups, admin and employee, with their respective access permissions. However, you can easily add new user groups, modify the permissions of existing groups, and make all the necessary changes to adjust the template to your company’s specific hierarchy and workflows.

FAQ

As the name suggest, it’s basically the process of managing relationships with your customers. Nevertheless, by CRM we usually mean not the process of managing those relationships but rather the software solutions that help us do that. CRM platforms can potentially include any relevant info on your clients such as the history of your interactions with them, accomplished or pending business deals, prospective customers (i.e. leads), and so on. As your business grows and you engage with more and more clients, the need for a platform to keep track of all the communication becomes obvious. Modern CRM platforms allow you to account for all the steps in the client relationship management process and keep all the data up to date in a single spot, sharing it with other members of your team.

First of all, a CRM will help you store all the client-related data safely and not lose anything. Secondly, it will allow you to organize it properly and keep it up to date. For instance, with a single click, you can get clear picture of all the data associated with a specific customer/prospect such as when you’ve last interacted with him/her, what deals have you closed together, what was your feedback on the last call, and much more.

Virtually, any customer-facing business can benefit from a CRM. However, if we speak about specific departments and roles within the company, most of the time, CRMs are actively used by sales teams and managers. CRMs can also be useful for individuals who interact with a number of clients on a regular basis. Freelancers are a good example of this.

As soon as you click the Use the template button, you'll be immediately taken to Softr studio and can start working on the template. If you don't have a Softr account, you'll be prompted to register first (a Free account will work just fine).

All the Softr templates are completely free of charge and can be used with any of the Softr subscription plans. However, Free and Starter plans have a limitation on the number of application users, so you might need to consider a higher subscription plan if you need to have full Memberships access.
